SMS / Text Message Policy

When you provide your mobile number during sign-up and opt in, you consent to receive one-time verification (2FA) codes by text from myScout to verify and secure your account. These are account-security messages only. We do not send marketing or promotional texts through this program.

Information Collection: We collect your mobile number only when you voluntarily provide it and opt in during sign-up.
Use of Information: Your number is used solely to send account-verification codes. We do not sell or share your phone number or mobile opt-in data with third parties or lead generators.
Message Frequency: Varies based on your verification activity (typically one message per request).
Opt-Out: Reply STOP at any time to stop verification texts. Reply HELP for help, or email GameOn@myScout.ai.
Rates: Message and data rates may apply.
Data Security: We take reasonable precautions to protect your information.

Google User Data and Connected Accounts

When you choose to connect your Google account (Gmail and/or Google Calendar) to myScout, you grant myScout permission to access certain Google data so the product can work on your behalf. Specifically:

Sending email (gmail.send): myScout sends outreach emails from your own connected mailbox only when you explicitly choose to send them inside the app. We never send email on your behalf without your action.
Reading email metadata (gmail.readonly): myScout reads message metadata (sender, recipients, and timestamps) and reply status, to (a) build your warm-introduction relationship map (who on your team already knows a given contact) and (b) detect when a prospect has replied so we can update your follow-up reminders. We do not read, store, display, or transfer the body or subject content of your emails for these features.
Calendar (calendar.events): myScout reads your calendar events to map meetings into your relationship graph, and, if you enable it, to create meeting events. Access is limited to your own calendar.

Limited Use. myScout's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not transfer it to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve the features above, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition. We do not allow humans to read this data unless we have your consent for specific messages, it is necessary for security or to comply with applicable law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized.

You can disconnect your Google account at any time from within myScout, which revokes this access.
